I’m starting a new Saturday pregnancy yoga class at The Haelan Centre (opens in a new window) 41 The Broadway, Crouch End, London N8 8DT
The class starts on Saturday 1 June and will run weekly 1.30pm-3pm in the lower studio. The cost will be £12 per class paid monthly in advance, £13 drop-in if space.
Pregnancy yoga classes use breath, visualisation and postures to help women remain calm, centred and healthy during pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period.
I believe that practicing yoga during pregnancy can relieve pain and contribute to a more enjoyable birth.
You don’t need any yoga experience to attend this class.
Pregnancy yoga can be really helpful in treating common
ailments like back pain, insomnia, cramp, constipation, pelvic pain, pubic instability or SPD and anxiety.
Pregnancy yoga classes are a great place to meeting local women who will become
mums at the same time as you. The atmosphere is supportive and the class offers time for chatting. There is also a long relaxation period at the end of the class.
